Butterfly lobster tail by cutting lengthwise through center of the hard top shell and meat with kitchen shears and sharp knife. Cut to, but not through, bottoms of shells
Spread tail halves apart and carefully lift lobster meat through opening slit, keeping it attached at the tail fin. Close the shell and rest meat on top
Place prepared lobster tails on baking sheet and brush exposed meat with melted butter or olive oil. Season with any desired spices
Bake lobster tails in preheated oven for approximately 12-15 minutes until meat is opaque and firm and internal temperature reaches 145°F in the center of the tail. Once cooked, remove the lobster tails from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving
Steak
Thaw steak in fridge overnight
Remove steak from packaging and sprinkle liberally on both sides with your favourite steak seasoning
Add butter to skillet and sear steak over medium-high heat on both sides
Reduce heat and continue to cook steak until it reaches desired level of doneness
Remove steak from skillet and allow to rest for 3-5 mins before slicing
Serve steak alongside lobster with your choice of sides and enjoy!
