Mexican Fajita Steak with Beef Tips
A Mexican spiced marinade for Beef Tenderloin Tips that makes a delicious skillet dinner! Make fajitas with your favourite toppings, or serve on a bed of rice or greens.
Cut from premium tenderloin, the beef tips are already tender and juicy. Marinate them for a minimum of 3 hours to intensify the flavours and further break down the meat prior to cooking.
Mexican Fajita Steak with Sealand Beef Tips
3/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 limes, juiced
3 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground allspice
2 tsp ground oregano
2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp Kosher salt
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 jalapeno, diced
Combine all marinade ingredients in a large bowl
Add defrosted beef tenderloin tips and stir to cover
Marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 3 hours up to 24 hours
Heat a skillet to medium-high and sauté beef tips for 5-7 minutes or until desired doneness
Serve in tortilla wraps with choice of toppings
Options for toppings include sautéed peppers, avocado, Pico de Gallo and chopped cilantro!
