How To BBQ Lobster

Directions

1. Defrost lobster tails in fridge overnight

2. Using sharp scissors, cut lobster shell longitudinally along centerline up until the tail fin

3. Insert sharp knife into cut line. Carefully butterfly lobster meat, making sure not to cut bottom shell

4. Pull the two sides of shell apart to expose butterflied lobster meat

5. Rinse with cold water to remove any debris

6. Brush meat with oil

7. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat and add garlic

8. Place lobster tails meat side down on preheated BBQ over medium heat for 1 minute

9. Flip tails so they are shell side down and brush meat generously with garlic butter

10. BBQ for an additional 10 mins until the meat is opaque and firm and the internal temperature reaches 145°F in the center of the tail

11. Sprinkle lobster tails with parsley and serve with baked potatoes, corn on the cob and extra garlic butter for dipping
