Homemade Shrimp and Spinach Alfredo
Nothing says comfort food like a big bowl of creamy alfredo pasta. Throw in some juicy shrimp and mouth watering bacon and you've got yourself the perfect winter's feast!
The mild seafood flavour of the shrimp perfectly compliments the meatiness of the bacon. With a creamy alfredo sauce infused with garlic, spinach and parmesan cheese, this dish is too good to just have one serving, so be sure to make a big batch!
Sealand Homemade Shrimp and Spinach Alfredo
Cook bacon, chop into bite sized pieces and set aside
Prepare pasta as per package instructions
Meanwhile, heat oil over medium heat in large pot
Cook garlic and shrimp until shrimp is pink, then remove shrimp
Add spinach, onions, salt and pepper, cooking until onions are translucent (approx. 5 mins)
Pour in cream and bring to boil
Add cooked fettuccine. Mix in cooked shrimp, bacon, parmesan and parsley until cheese is melted
