How to Pan Fry Chilean Sea Bass

Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Add 1 tbsp of butter and 1 clove of minced garlic to the pan. Pat dry thawed fillets, season with sea salt and pepper, and place skin side down in the pan. Cook for 4-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature at the thickest part of the fish reaches 145°F. Transfer to serving plates and serve with an herb pesto.

How to Air Fry Chilean Sea Bass

Spray air fryer with oil and preheat to 375°F. Pat dry thawed fillets, add seasoning and cook skin side down for 10 minutes or until the internal temperature of the sea bass reaches 145°F. The fish should be golden and the skin crispy.

Cooking times and temperatures may vary based on the method of preparation and the thickness of the fish. Test for doneness with a meat thermometer.
