Sesame Ginger Chicken
Chicken is arguably the most versatile meat on the planet, and yet we often find ourselves using the same tried and true recipes over and over again. But if you're reading this, then all that is about to change!
This recipe takes our incredibly tender and juicy sweetheart chicken breasts and gives them the Oriental treatment with a teriyaki-based, sesame ginger marinade.

Sealand Sesame Ginger Chicken
2 tbsp light teriyaki sauce
1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
1 tbsp ground ginger
2 sliced green onions
To toast sesame seeds, bake uncovered in an un-greased, shallow baking sheet at 120°C (250°F) for 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally until golden brown
Alternatively, toast sesame seeds in an un-greased, heavy skillet over medium heat for around 2 minutes. Stir frequently until browning begins and then constantly until golden brown
Mix teriyaki sauce, sesame seeds and ginger in a bowl, then brush over defrosted chicken, coating evenly
Spray 10-inch skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning once. Cook until internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F)
Garnish with sliced green onions
