Directions
- Arrange your meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer, and spray lightly with oil.
- Air fry at 400 degrees for 12-14 minutes, shaking halfway until the meatballs are golden brown and cooked through.
- Heat up the marinara sauce and stock in a sauce pan until bubbly and then add in the pesto and parmesan cheese. Stir to flavor the sauce.
- Now add in the cooked meatballs into the sauce and let them simmer in the sauce for 3-4 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375º F.
- Layer a 10 inch casserole baking dish or a 9X13 inch with half the cooked pasta.
- Top the pasta with the sliced cheeses and pour half of the cream over it.
- Add half the meatballs sauce and spread it evenly.
- Now top that with the remaining pasta.
- Repeat with the fresh mozzarella slices, Parmesan cheese, cream and pesto.
- Cover with the remaining meatballs and sauce and finish with a layer of the cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes. If you feel the tops are browning too quick (depending on your oven), you can cover it with aluminum foul and continue cooking.
- Wait for 5-8 minutes before serving as the sauce will be very hot.
