Best Ways to Cook

We recommend that all our meat products be thawed out of packaging for 24 hours in the refrigerator prior to cooking (unless otherwise stated). Whether choosing to thaw inside or outside of the packaging, please place in a dish to thaw. Here at Sealand Quality Foods, our meat is extremely lean, saving you up to 20% cooking time. Follow these steps to create a perfect balance of natural flavour, texture, and aesthetic appearance. INDIVIDUAL APPLIANCE TEMPERATURE MAY VARY THE COOKING TIME. USE CAUTION AS PRODUCT WILL BE HOT!

Bake

How to Bake Veal Chops

Preheat oven to 375°F. Sear the veal chops in a skillet until a brown crust develops - about 3-5 minutes for each side.

If oven-safe, transfer the skillet to your oven. If not, place the chops on a lightly oiled baking dish on the middle rack of your oven, and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature registers 5-10°F lower than your desired doneness (see internal temperature guidelines below).

Let the chops rest for 3-5 minutes prior to serving. Temperature will continue to rise while resting.
Pan Fry

How to Pan Fry Veal Chops

Preheat a heavy non-stick skillet over medium heat until hot, for about 5 minutes. Season veal chops and place in the hot skillet. Do not overcrowd, cover the pan or add oil/water.

Sear for 8-10 minutes (flipping halfway through) or until the internal temperature registers 5-10°F lower than your desired doneness (see internal temperature guidelines below).

Let rest for 3-5 minutes prior to serving. Temperature will continue to rise while resting.
