Directions
- Remove the Sealand French Cut Milk Fed Veal Chops from the freezer, unpack and let it defrost entirely. You can defrost it in the fridge overnight or on the countertop for 3-4 hours.
- Season the veal chops on both sides.
- Preheat the grill pan over medium high heat with the butter and oil.
- Add in the veal chops and grill for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the chops from the grill pan and use it to make the sauce do not wash it.
- Add another tablespoon of butter and sauté the shallots with the mushrooms in the pan for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add in the garlic and rosemary and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the flour and toast lightly in the pan for 1 minute to remove any raw flour taste.
- Add the wine and let the sauce come to a boil, then drop the heat to low and let it simmer until it has thickened and reduced. This takes 15 minutes.
- Season the sauce and finish off with the cream and parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, extra seasoning if you like.
- Pour the sauce over the veal chops or return the chops back to the grill pan to absorb the sauce.
- To make the air fryer garlic bread: Use a serrated knife and cut half inch intervals along the bread, making sure no to cut all the way through. You want to make slits on insertions enough to load with the butter filling while keeping the loaf intact.
- In a medium size bowl, add in the soft butter, garlic, fresh parmesan cheese, seasoning and spices and minced fresh herbs.Use a fork to mash everything together until blended and smooth. Taste and adjust for seasoning if you'd like.
- Now take a spreading knife and slather the bread with the butter mixture everywhere you can. Go in between the slices, over the top of the bread and sides, just give it all the flavour you possible can.
- Place the garlic bread in the basket of your air fryer.
- Air fry the garlic bread at 375 degrees F for 4 minutes if you want a softer garlic bread. Increase the time to 6 minutes for crispier crust on the bread.
- When ready, remove it from the air fryer and break apart the slices.
- Use the garlic bread to soak up the red wine mushroom sauce with the Veal chops.
- Bon appétit
