Directions
- Remove the Sealand Crawfish from the bag. Use half of it and seal the rest in the sealable bag. Freeze for another use.
- In a large pot, about 6.7 quart size or larger, fill the water about 2/3 of the way.
- Add in the first set of boil ingredients all at once and mix with the water.
- Boil the water for 30 minutes on medium until the flavors blend in and the liquid is tasty.
- Adjust salt if needed.
- Add in the first set of add ons, and mix into the water.
- Boil on medium for another 15 minutes until the potatoes are nearly cooked through and the sausage has released the smoky flavor into the liquid.
- Add the crawfish at this stage along with the second set of add on ingredients and mix well into the pot.
- Boil on medium low for 10-12 minutes until the veggies are soft and the crawfish absorbs the flavoured liquid.
- Turn off the heat and strain the pot, or use a slotted spoon to remove the fish, corn, potatoes, sausage and beans from the pot.
- Arrange the crawfish boil on to a serving plate. Make the butter sauce by mixing all ingredients in a small bowl.
- Optionally, brush with the butter sauce and enjoy right away.
