Red Snapper Fillets

1 review

(Item #44) 8 individual portions of wild caught Red Snapper Fillets (20 x 4oz servings).

Even though it is a white fish, the flesh of snapper fillets is tinted pink from its red skin. Snapper is delicate and mild on the palate, with a fresh taste that can be slightly nutty. It is a moist and lean fish that is best suited to searing in a pan or baking in the oven. Sealand's wild caught Snapper Fillets are Individually Quick Frozen (iQF), which helps maintain their semi-firm and succulent texture after they're defrosted.

Best Ways to Cook

We recommend that all our fish products be thawed out of packaging for 24 hours in the refrigerator prior to cooking (unless otherwise stated). And why not try one of these simple cooking methods. INDIVIDUAL APPLIANCE TEMPERATURE MAY VARY THE COOKING TIME. USE CAUTION AS PRODUCT WILL BE HOT!

Bake

How to Bake Snapper

Preheat oven to 400°F and place thawed snapper fillets in baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and a squeeze of fresh lemon. Top with minced garlic and salt and pepper to taste. Bake for 12-14 minutes until snapper appears opaque and flakes easily, or until the internal temperature at the thickest part of the fish reaches 145°F.
Air Fry

How to Air Fry Snapper

Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Add seasoning and cook for 10-12 minutes (flipping halfway through) or until the internal temperature of the snapper reaches 145°F. The fish should be golden and flake easily with a fork.

Cooking times and temperatures may vary based on the method of preparation and the thickness of the fish. Test for doneness with a meat thermometer.
