From the Chat panel, you can upload photos. Photos can help you show Cheffy what you’re seeing- whether during the brainstorming stage (trying to come up with meal ideas) or if you’re stuck on a step during a recipe. 

Cheffy wants to make sure he doesn't miss any instructions. When he detects noise, he stops to listen. Don’t you wish more people were like Cheffy? Try to minimize your background noise as much as possible and tell Cheffy to just focus on your voice only. You can also use the Mute Mic button. The Cheffy avatar will appear greyed out when your mic is on mute. Just let Cheffy do the talking, and respond using the Chat feature.

The likely culprit is that the email address you provided to Cheffy was misspelled. You can use the Chat panel on the right of your screen (for desktop), or click on the Chat button (on mobile) to ensure the email Cheffy is using is correct. If your email address is correct and you still did not receive any emails, ask Cheffy for a confirmation about the sending status. Lastly, check your junk folder, some email providers have strict settings that filter where the emails you receive land. 

Cheffy knows that there’s always bigger fish to fry and that life gets busy. He pauses a session while you attend to other business- like answering emails, calls, texts, etc.- and picks it back up when you come back around. Let him know that you’re ready to proceed, and he continues from where you left off. If your session times out, provide Cheffy with your email address, and he will recognize exactly where you left off from your last recipe.

Cheffy uses email addresses to create unique profiles for every home cook he helps. At the beginning of every session, he’ll ask for your email address to either create a new profile or link your session to your existing profile. Over time, he remembers details that matter to your cooking, such as your dietary restrictions, preferred spice levels, favorite cuisines, and the cookware or appliances you actually have on hand. The more you cook with him, the better his recommendations fit your style.

Cheffy caters to the average home cook. However, if you want Cheffy to speed it up or, the opposite, slow it down, just let him know. You are in complete control. He’ll adjust the tempo to match your speed/ cooking skills.

You can have multiple timers going at the same time.
