Cheffy Terms Of Service

You represent and warrant that you are of legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, that you are of sound mind and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement, and that if you are under the age of majority, you are using the App only under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by this Agreement.

You further agree that any person accessing the App on your device is deemed authorized by you and bound by this Agreement, and that you are fully responsible for all use of the App on your device, whether by you or any third party.

The Cheffy App is intended solely to assist with cooking guidance, recipe suggestions, and meal inspiration, to provide grocery lists curated based on user input, and to facilitate optional shopping cart additions through Sealand Quality Foods.

The App does not provide professional culinary, dietary, medical, or safety advice, and does not guarantee outcomes, food quality, preparation success, or safety. All content is provided "as is" and for informational and convenience purposes only.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that cooking, food preparation, and handling involve inherent risks, including but not limited to burns, cuts, fires, and other kitchen related injuries, foodborne illness, allergic reactions, or contamination, and equipment malfunction or misuse.

You assume full responsibility for all risks, known or unknown, associated with preparing, cooking, or consuming any food, following any recipes, instructions, or suggestions from the App, and purchasing, storing, or consuming any products.

You are solely responsible for verifying all ingredients and potential allergens, ensuring food safety, proper storage, cooking temperatures, and handling, and determining whether any food or recipe is safe for your personal dietary, medical, or health conditions.

Sealand makes no representations or warranties regarding allergen free content, nutritional accuracy, or dietary suitability.

When using the App to add items to a shopping cart or purchase products, product descriptions, availability, pricing, and substitutions may vary. Sealand does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any item. You are responsible for reviewing your cart before purchase.

All purchases remain subject to Sealand's separate sales, delivery, and product policies.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non infringement, and uninterrupted or error free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Sealand Quality Foods, its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, personal injury, illness, allergic reaction, or death, property damage or loss, economic loss or lost profits, errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in App content, or any outcomes resulting from reliance on recipes, instructions, or recommendations.

This applies regardless of legal theory, including negligence, contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

You hereby fully and irrevocably waive, release, and discharge Sealand Quality Foods and all related parties from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, costs, or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of or related to use or misuse of the App, cooking, preparation, or consumption of food, reliance on App generated content, or use of any products purchased through the App.

You agree that this waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law globally.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sealand Quality Foods from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses, including legal fees, arising from your use or misuse of the App, your violation of this Agreement, or any harm caused by your actions or negligence.

The App may utilize automated systems, algorithms, or AI generated suggestions. You acknowledge that outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate, and that you are solely responsible for verifying all information before acting on it.

You are responsible for securing your device, preventing unauthorized access, and monitoring all usage on your device. Any use of the App on your device is deemed your responsibility.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations or exclusions of liability. In such cases, these provisions shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and any unenforceable portion shall be severed, with the remainder to remain in full force.

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory local laws require otherwise.

Sealand reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

By using the Cheffy App, you confirm that you have read and understood this Agreement, that you voluntarily accept all risks, and that you agree to be legally bound by its terms.
