How to Bake BBQ Chicken Breasts

Preheat oven to 400ºF. Place the frozen chicken on a lightly oiled baking dish in the middle rack of your oven. For golden brown crispy chicken, cook with the skin towards the heat. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F. For best results, turn your oven to broil in the few last minutes of cooking to achieve crispy skin. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Temperature will continue to rise while resting.

How to Air Fry BBQ Chicken Breasts

Preheat air fryer to 375°F. Place frozen chicken in the air fryer basket (single layer). For golden brown crispy chicken, cook with the skin towards the heat. Cook for 45 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F. Remove from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Temperature will continue to rise while resting.

Cooking times and temperatures may vary based on the method of preparation and your desired degree of doneness. Test for doneness with a meat thermometer.
